Bourgas – The Best Bulgarian City to Live in for 2010

Bourgas 27 towns and cities took part in the research as they were assessed by 25 criteria. Bourgas received maximum points in the fields of investments in infrastructural projects, working hours of shops, kindergartens, culture, unemployment rate, foreign investments, etc.

Veliko Tarnovo was announced the most beautiful town, Smolyan – the greenest town and Sofia was ranked the best city to do business in. Varna and Blagoevgrad also won special certificates for Best Bulgarian City to Live in for 2010 but after the results from the internet vote.

In 2009 the capital Sofia was announced The Best Bulgarian City to Live in as before that it was the Black Sea city of Varna which won the title two years in a row.
