Guest house of the Bulgarian national revival style

We are pleased to offer for sale this charming and well kept guest house. It is situated in the very center of Bansko. The house was built in 1810, but it is still in excelent condition. It is set among the most beautiful architectural monuments in the town.

This is a two storey building and each of the floors is with an area of 150 sq.m. The house is made of stones and wood. It has a big veranda on the second floor, walls of natural stone, a neat garden, a working taverna with a fireplace and wonderful views of the Pirin Mountains.

On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, a tavern with a kitchen and offices. On the second floor there are five double rooms with bathrooms. This rooms are accessible via an authentic external wooden staircase that leads to a large porch with exquisite wooden railings.
Each of the quest rooms has wooden flooring and double wooden windows. The windows on the first floor also have outer wooden shutters and authentic wrought iron grilles. The ceilings in the house have visible planking and beams - as this is the way houses we built over a century ago. The lighting fixtures in the rooms are also very well selected - in the shape of antique lanterns. The house has central heating. The bathrooms and the kitchen of the tavern could be easily modernized and upgraded with minimal funds to meet even the requirements of the most demanding guests.

The tavern is very well kept - with attractive inner and outer decoration and fireplace, which creates unique comfort and warmth. The stone wall around the yard has two wooden gates. There are traditional boxtree shrubs, spindle shrubs, apple and pear trees in the garden.
On the outside of the wall the masters Dimitar Zlatev and Cvetko Sharkov have built a large stone fountain with two spouts and two separate beds. This fountain, although relatively new, is so masterfully executed and is keeping the spirit of the revival time that has become one of the emblematic places of the town. There you will be happy to have a sip of water and take a picture for a keepsake.

The area of Bansko is well known for its many opportunities for winter sports, rural tourism, mountaineering, hunting, fishing, spa, golf, sightseeing, off-road crosses, cycling, horse riding and many others. All these entertainments in combination with the unique nature and charm of Pirin Mountain turn the place into an extremely desirable holiday destination during the warmer and the colder months of the year.
