The village of Momchilovtsi is quite large and has good infrastructure with Internet connection, which includes several hotels, restaurants and shops, a town hall and a post office, a museum, pharmacy, clinic, a large kindergarten, ATM, plus an Internet Café and own Snowboard Park just outside the boundaries of the settlement. It is set 20 min drive from the nearest town and is 15 min away from a new golf course.
There are several new activities projects planned for the area surrounding Momchilovtsi which include the connection of the three main ski resorts in the area – Chepelare, Pamporovo and Perelik Ski Resort project. The road access to Momchilovtsi is already very good but will further benefit from an international road, giving greater access from Xante (in Greece) to the city of Plovdiv, making the journey from Momchilovtsi to Mediterranean Sea possible in 1 1/2 hours.
