Tourist complex Martsiganitsa is set in the Dobrostan massive of the Rhodope mountains, 1412 meters above sea level, in a picturesque region with mild climate. This former state residence with helicopter landing place is located in the exceptional beauty of the botanical reserve "Red Rock", covering an area of ​​5700 hectares stuated just 4 km from the village Dobrostan, 38 km from Plovdiv and its airport and 30 km from Asenovgrad.

The property includes land in regulation (19,154 sq.m.), forest of 2855 sq.m., and the following buildings - hotel-restaurant (3842 sq.m.), pump and reservoir (100 sq.m.), another solid building (490 sq.m.), tea house (46 sq.m.) and outside toilet (16 sq.m.). The property is equipped with its own power station (the complex is supplied with electricity from a 6-km route) and its own pumping station.

The annual average temperature is 21 degrees, the warmest month is July and the coldest - January. This allows practicing winter sports from December to late March. The months from April to October are suitable for hiking, paragliding, speleology. The beautiful rock formation Belintash is two hours walking from here.

The surrounding area has many karst caves and historical sites. It is characterized by a wide variety of plant species, including endangered ones, pine and deciduous forests. Here is the reserve for wild animals Karamush where hunting is prohibited and it is home for rare animals and birds, visited by many ornithologists and bird lovers. You can observe 149 species, of which 47 are included in the "Red Book".

The area is connected with religious tourism. Two of the most famous temples in Bulgaria are set nearby. One of them is Bachkovo Monastery, founded in 1803, the most visited within the Balkan peninsula. The Christian center Krystova gora with built monastery, which attracts many pilgrims because of the medical impact of this place, is situated 3 hours walking from here.
